![]() So what if Dredge's gun aims like this? Learn to use based on how it works. I know I'm sounding condescending with this and that's my point. Let me shorten that for you: "ThIS ChRActErs guN iz HuDr tO UsE tHaN oTHeR cHarAcTerS gUN, pLeAsE CHaNgE." I don't know, they could rework both Scuttle and Hurl to give Dredge a talent that allowed him to put down a Shortcut at a distace with his Harpoon and maybe allow his teamates to go throught, but only if they stand still in the Shortcut for 1.5 sec or something. ![]() Hurl is a crutch and only makes the champion easier to play, which is bad because Dredge is supposed to be a high-skillcap champion, but both Hurl and Scuttle only make him way easier and much worse and unfun to play against. Is it really that hard? A couple of games with Dredge are enought to get used to how this weapon works and it can do some things that other blasters can't, like hitting and enemy with both splash and a direct hit at the same time. This, plus being vulnerable to flanks 24/7 makes the braindead spam worthless. You're not applying caut or wrecker, Broadside has a 2 sec fuse time and you can just move away from the spam. Why is that you may ask? Beacuse it doesn't. The Broadside + Scuttle spam only seems to work when dredge is in the opposite team. They need to shorten the detonation countdown so players can't just step a little to the left, right or wherever direction to avoid it. It was like Jenos's ult before it was given less cast time. ![]() Best option: Make it so people need to press a button to use it. Allies being able to use it could have been fun, but because it instantly teleports without warning, it's basically a dick move to place it near team fights. I wouldn't really change anything with Harpoon. Harpoon spam is better than Broadside-Reload spam simply because you still need to aim accurately and have LOS of your target. But when paired with Hurl talent, it becomes a better primary fire than the howitzer. They need to improve its travel path to something similar to Pip's. Basically, Pip's projectile track is half a parabola while Dredge's projectile track is a full parabola which makes it harder to hit. Unlike Pip's arching projectile, which fires at the direction you are pointing and descends after a few moments of flight, Dredge's projectile tends to go up when fired and then go into an arch. The problem is that it's hard to land a direct hit with it unless you are in point blank range. His primary fire has decent damage for a blaster. Either they decrease the damage of the reload to around 500-700 or they could remove the reload projectile completely His reload, paired with the current Heave Away card and Scuttle talent makes it so that he can nuke people every 3 seconds. Broadside gives way too many visual clutter and can be spammed like the fucking "I Love You" virus. Let's talk about his current dominant playstyle. By now, it's a common fact that nobody likes playing against Dredge and while I can go on with the braindead screaming of "Dredge OP, Please nerf", I'd rather discuss why he's just a poorly designed champion overall.
